Where to Find Your Sub-Zero Refrigerator, Freezer, Wine Cooler, or Drawers Model Number

If you need your Sub-Zero model number for service, parts, or warranty information, here’s where to look.

1. Inside the Refrigerator Compartment

Open the refrigerator door and check the upper right interior wall.
Most units have a rating plate or sticker located there.

You may also find it:

  • Along the door frame near the hinges

  • On the side wall behind the crisper drawers

2. Behind the Top Grille (Built-In Models)

On many built-in models from Sub-Zero Group, Inc., the model and serial number plate is located behind the top grille panel.

To check:

  1. Pull the top grille forward or lift it up (depending on your model).

  2. Look for a silver rating plate attached to the frame.

3. On PRO Series Units

For PRO-style models, the rating plate is typically found:

  • Inside the refrigerator compartment

  • Or behind the top grille

What the Model Number Looks Like

Your model number may:

  • Begin with numbers such as 36, 42, or 48 (indicating width in inches)

  • Include letters such as BI, IC, IT, CL, or PRO

Example: BI-36UFDID/S/TH
